The film Susie's Hope (SusiesHope.com) tells the true story of Susie, a pit bull puppy found burned and abandoned in a Greensboro park, as she heals with the help of Donna Lawrence, herself the survivor of a vicious pit bull attack. Together, they inspire a change in the law to protect all animals in North Carolina, and Donna finds that she was the one who needed to be rescued.
I first met Donna and Susie when Phil Newsome introduced us in August of 2011. While we talked about the story as a film, we never anticipated that it would be a reality in less than two years!
Now, the film is enjoying a successful VOD release before it can be seen anywhere else! Already, people have contacted us to say they were "inspired," "emotionally overwhelmed" and "in love with Susie." Check out Susie's Hope on Video On Demand with the following partners:

Susie's Hope was recently awarded the Dove Family Seal of Approval, following sold-out premiere showings at RiverRun International Film Festival and winning awards with Cape Fear Independent Film Festival and Greenville International Film Festival.
