The state of Georgia has wisely invested in their film industry, and one extension of their commitment is the Georgia Film Academy. (Be sure to hover and click the link for more information!) With a dedicated mission to generate qualified on-set crew for the growing industry, the Georgia Film Academy has been making headlines as it rolls out its first series of classes. I am honored to have accepted a position teaching film production classes with this important program! Beginning in March, I will work with students at Gwinnett Technical College.
Spearheaded by Executive Director Jeff Stepakoff, whose credits include Dawson's Creek, The Wonder Years and ABC Family's Chasing Life, the Georgia Film Academy will be an expanding program building the next generation of filmmakers in Georgia.
