Part of my summer semester pursuing the MFA at Hollins included a production class, in which I had to write, shoot and edit a short film. With a crew of four (including the composer) and a cast of five, I made the comedy "Car Jacked." We are proud to have it featured at the NewFilmmakers NY Winter Series on January 9th at 7:00pm. If you or anyone you know are in NYC, we hope you'll check out our five-minute film at the Courthouse Theater at Anthology Film Archives, 32 Second AVe (at 2nd Street). Learn more at:

It is also a pleasure to end the year with the knowledge that Susie's Hope has essentially completed post-production. While minor technical details are still being adjusted for the deliverables, the film goes into discussions with distributors at the beginning of the year. We hope to have information about where you can see the film in your hometown soon!
Other projects that end the year with some "traction" include Ocean Drive and Snapper! I hope that each will have major announcements early in 2013.
And last but not least, my favorite production of all has premiered: our second daughter arrived on December 9th. We are blessed to be home, happy and healthy. What a wonderful beginning to a new year, indeed!
